Who I Am
I was born on the Baltic island of Gotland, Sweden, and today I divide my life between my northern roots and the rugged, poetic landscape of Sardinia. For over a decade, Montiferru has become my second home—a place where I grow olives, photograph the rhythms of rural life, and explore its hidden trails with the curiosity of both an outsider and a local.
I am a certified hiking guide (GAE – LAGAP) and a professional photographer with more than twenty years of experience in documentary work, portraiture and visual storytelling. My background includes formal photographic education, collaborations with artists and designers, exhibitions, and publications. This dual path—nature guiding and photography—shapes the way I lead my excursions: with technical competence, artistic sensitivity and a genuine respect for the territory.
My work is rooted in sustainability and authenticity. I live off the land, produce solar energy, and use an electric vehicle for my tours. I collaborate with local farmers, artisans and cultural associations, because I believe that walking through a landscape also means engaging with the people who shape it.
Guiding in three languages (English, Italian and Swedish) allows me to welcome travellers from different countries and create a bridge between cultures—something especially appreciated by Scandinavian visitors who want to discover Sardinia through a familiar voice.
With Cuglieri Excursions, my goal is simple:
to help you experience the Sardinia that most people never see—slow, wild, intimate, and deeply human.
